SenseSync™ Adjustable Bed Base

 Most standard platform and slatted bed frames work with the adjustable base, as long as they provide a solid, flat, and stable surface. For slatted frames, the slats should be at least 3" wide and no more than 4" apart, with center support for Queen and King sizes. 

The base is not designed for traditional box springs, plywood or bunkie boards, futon bases, or sofa beds. It can also be used in a zero-clearance setup when placed directly on a suitable platform or foundation.

Check the adjustable base dimensions below and choose the setup that matches your bed frame:

• Enclosed bed frame with side rails: The frame’s inner dimensions must be 0.4"–0.8" (10–20 mm) larger than the base dimensions on all sides. Do not force the base into a smaller frame.
• Platform bed or flat base: If the base is larger than the frame’s inner dimensions, keep the existing slats or platform board in place and place the power base on top.

The base can also be used with its included adjustable legs as a standalone setup.

  We recommend using a 10"–14" thick memory foam or latex mattress with this adjustable base. These mattress types are flexible enough to move with the base without restricting its range of motion.

  Weight capacity varies by size:

• Twin XL: 400 lbs
• Full / Queen: 750 lbs

These limits account for the mattress and everyone sleeping on the bed. For safe use, make sure the weight is evenly distributed across the base.

A few simple tips can help you get the most out of your adjustable base and enjoy a smoother everyday experience:

• Before adjusting the base, make sure nothing is under or around it that could block the base as it moves up or down.
• Keep hands, fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from moving and hinge areas while the base is adjusting.
• Keep children and pets away from the base while it is adjusting.
• Never stand, jump, or walk on the base, and keep it away from water or wet areas.
• When needed, use the Child Lock to prevent accidental adjustments from the remote, especially when children or pets are around.

Yes. Two Twin XL adjustable bases can be placed side by side to create a King-size setup. You can use each remote separately to adjust your own side, or pair the two bases and remotes to control both sides at the same time with one remote.

Adjust the base to your preferred position, then press and hold M1 or M2 to save it. Later, simply press M1 or M2 to return to your saved position automatically.

It comes with a 10-year limited warranty, with coverage that varies by period:

• Year 1: Defects in materials and workmanship may be replaced at no cost.
• Year 2: Coverage for defective parts and components, including electrical and electronic components.
• Years 3–10: Frame-only coverage for defects in the metal frame and legs.
